BRUSHING

It is recommended to brush your suit after each wear. This helps to keep it clean. A brush with natural fiber bristles is best to remove accumulated fibers and dust without damaging the fabric.

STEAMING/IRONING

To optimize results and maintain the quality and appearance of your garments, a steam iron is a great tool. Steam refreshes and purifies fabrics, reducing the need for frequent washing. After steaming, make sure each piece is hung with enough space to allow proper air circulation.

However, if ironing the suit horizontally is the only option, always use a protective cloth. Even then, this method isn't entirely safe, as shiny marks may still appear.

STORAGE

Proper storage is also very important. Before storing your suit, make sure it is clean and free of sweat residue. Let it air out in a well-ventilated area. Fold the pants according to the folds and hang them together with the jacket in a draft or above a heater, preferably overnight, until all odors are gone.
Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture, preferably in a dry and dark place.

Use a good quality hanger to keep your suit in shape—preferably one with wide shoulder support—to prevent deformation of the padding.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Unbutton your jacket when sitting to maintain its shape. Avoid carrying heavy items in your pockets to help prevent fabric deformation.

Take off your jacket when you are planning on sitting for a long time, such as in a car, to minimize unnecessary creasing.

Protect your suit from rain, as it can cause unwanted stains. If that happens, simply hang it up and let it dry vertically.

If you travel, make sure to always pack your suit in a protective bag.
